I forgot I put it in my mom’s car’s glove box and when she sent me to look for something I noticed there was a bulge in the papers and there was my camera!!!!!!!! currently I am waiting to find bateries to put in it I think I will ask my mom if I can buy rechargable batteries so i’m not using so many. Sorry for such a short post but I’ve been very busy with finishing my mom’s scarf, hat, and mittens, my brother’s second sock monkey ( will post pictures of the 1st soon!) my sisters hat, my dad’s hat, my nanna’s scarf which is my first cable, my friends scarf, which I still have to choose a pattern or create one, my santa hat a santa ornament,, my sisters baby koala, my friends penguin, my aunts sock monkey (still have to choosethe yarn will probably be blue or purple), so much more better get started. On top of all that I’m making my mom a calander, a recipe book, I’m helping my brother make ornaments and coupons for my mom, I haves school, and chores, and freinds are coming down next week and I have to clean my room. Oh and I’m making baklava for my favorite teacher and cookies like every other day so my brother can choose what we want to put out for santa. Oh and I just got the cup that I painted for my brother to use to put the hot chocolate for santa in. I have to run lots of stuff to do!

As soon as I buy more batteries, or find my rechargable ones I’ll be able to post pics of all the projects I’m working on. Except those that are going to be in swap packages. And I must say after I found out what swaps are they are really fun. I absolutely love to think of all the things I can add in to the package plus I love to wait for (cough..stalk..cough) the mail man waiting for the packages to come. I am currently in the Breaking Dawn Swap on Ravelry and the Read a liitle swap a little swap group also on Ravelry. They are so much fun, after my partners have recieved their packages I will post pics. And when I recieve my packages from them I will post pics! Ok have to go lots of studying to do!

Most everyone in my family enjoys ratatoille. Well okay only me and my mom really enjoy it but that’s because my older sister Abby hates any squash and Adom only enjoys making it he doesn’t enjoy the taste. Any how what does a 10-year-old know?
The recipe is follwed bellow but first a slew of pictures from me making the ratatouille and from tonights’ thanksgiving!
my pies where supposed to have extra cooked dough decorations but i forgot about them and they burned so i couldn’t use them, oh well.
Anyways I would like to tell you all what I am thankful for which is in no specific order because I’m really sleepy): My mom, my sister, my brother, my dad, all my wonderful pets, my close familyfriends, pumpkin pie, martinelli’s kiddie bubbly, food,…. this list will go on and on for ever so i’ll stop here.
Ratatouille
inspired by Racheal Ray here and Deb over at the Smitten Kitchen.
1 jar of roasted red bell peppers sliced (keep the JUICE)
1 reg size of diced tomatoes
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 zuchinis
2 med or 3 small yellow squash
3 med idaho potatoes or about 6 red potatoes
1 small eggplant or 2 japanese eggplant
1 bell pepper any color (i like to take one each of red, yellow/orange, or green bell peppers and save what’s left for mom’s fajitas)
Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice zuchini, squash, eggplant and bell peppers and set aside.
In a medium sautee pan sweat the onion and garlic. Then add the sliced roasted bell peppers and diced tomatoes and cook until all the pepers are nice and hot. Pour/dump pan into blender or food processor and blend till well blended, set aside.
Slice the potatoes.
Pour half the bell pepper mixture into a 9×13 baking dish (ours is mostly used for this, cakes, and brownies YUM!) then layer the veggies standing up son only part of it is in the sauce. Once the dish is full pour the rest of the mixture over it. Cover dish with parchment paper. NOT WAX and bake for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are fully cooked.
You will have a delicious meal and lots of left over veggies. This dish does reheat extremely well in the microwave. Try different items to serve it over, like a bed of cous cous or pasta or mashed potatoes, or a baked potatoe, or on a fried egg or even on scrambled eggs the list is endless! Enjoy!!!

Sew in the end pieces of yarn and wash. Your Acacia Scarf is now ready to give as a gift or wear with your favorite outfit.
If it is too long you can shorten the number of rows of garter stitch or you can get rid of the 12 size boxes created by knitting and purling 12 st, or the 20 row section of moss stitch.
When you block it don’t pull it too tight, and follow the care directions on your yarn!
Enjoy your scarves!!!
FOR THE SHORTER VERSION JUST CUT OUT THE GARTER STITCH. I will not email it anymore sorry.

Sorry I was gone forever but I found it difficult to hide behind a fake name, just didn’t seem like me so I admit to you all that my real name is Sheena.
Ok onto more important matters:
The Acacia scarf’s shorter version on removes the garter stitch in the middle of the scarve an cuts back on some of the moss stitch. Concerning the moss stitch I don’t know wether it it British or american I just know I always knit one purl one so that you end up always knitting the knit stitches and always purling the purl stitches. Boy I hope that made sense, though probably not. If you need more help feel free to comment and I will try to help!
Soon I will be posting everything I’ve been knittingsince I’ve been gone (at least the ones I didin’t give away)!
No tags for this post.I have found my camera. I have found my mom’s camera. I am sorry but I must put off pictures and my many finished objects a little while longer. 1st I have to ask my mom if I can borrow her camera. 2nd must get all chores done first (sucks to be a teenager). 3rd must babysit little brother Adom ( mom very fond of A names and funky spellings my first name is Anabel but I prefer Anna). then once all this is done and anything else my mom may ask I have homework and I have volunteered to make my favorite dinner which I hope to take pictures and post about!
Just so you have an idea I have finished two scarfs an probably by the time I can take pictures I might have a sock monkey done all of which are on my christmas present list. Both of the scarfs are patterns I created and the sock monkey comes from a pattern I found online which is absoluteley free so I will post it here so you can all enjoy the free pattern(s)! YAY!
Also with me making my favorite dinner tomorrow(or the next) and Thanksgiving I will have many recipes and (hopefully) many pictures for all of you!
Got to go do chores

Sorry but this is going to be kind of short but unfortunately now pics of Pumpkin pie becuase i misplaced my camera and my family and I have eaten pratically both of the pies I made. However I will take pictures of all teh food at Thanksgiving asuming I can find a camera. Now onto knitting news
For all the knitters out there if you ever lose, misplace, or don’t have stitch holders and the store you shop at is out, you can got to Wal Mart or any other store that will carry office supplies and buy you Jumbo Paperclips that are about the size ot stitch holders. It is so incredibly easy to manipulate the paperclips and to slide the stitches on. However you do need to be carefull about the paperclip snagging on to the stitches.
Gotta run!
