Hello Every One,
I have created this to put both my knitting and cooking adventures. I will tell you that none of the names that I use are real they are completely fake to keep every one i mention safe and to keep myself safe. I hope you understand, if not….well too bad it’s my blog and I promised my mom I would.
With that I will tell you that I will be posting pictures soon of the test pumpkin pie that I made (if theres any left) and pictures of the scarf that I made for a christmas present, along with it’s pattern. The pattern is completely free and so is any recipe i put on here so tell everyone you know and ENJOY!
Sorry for such a short post

Today my brother and I decided we were going to take my Red Hear white yarn, which I probably was never going to use again, and add Kool aid to it. We had lots of fun creating little skeins and dying them, and our kitchen smellled so delicous! However I didn’t know you had to simmer the yarn as it dyes so we are trying something else. I put a kettle of water on and while it was boiling we put our color choices into our Shrek glass cups that we got from McD’s and added the boiling water then added in our mini skeins and let it sit while we wound more mini skeins and decided our colors. After about an hour I realized it wasn’t working quite as well as I’d hoped so I went online and discovered that I had done it all wrong, so I tried to dye them like I was creating self striping yar by putting the glasses into a pot of water. Well I should have thought more because then I would have realized one of the glasses was bound to break, and sure enough one did, however unfortunately it was not a Shrek cup, becaus we had already filled all of them, and I used our last A&W mug for rootbeer floats, and it cracked in halve like someone was trying to cut it open to see the liquid inside, so I then put the yarns into a baking dish so I could pull the skein apart and place it into a jar so it could soak until all the color was sucked up. I burned some of my finger tips and dyed them all too. However tomorrow or Saturday I am buying more and trying again!!!!!!!!! It’s alot of fun, especially with the mad scientist one that is white with rainbow speck as powder then turns into a mystery neon color, mine was blue! and I also like the magicians one because the blue green one is supposed to turn form green powder to blue liquid and the yarn is tugouise in the water, but seafom out, It’s so so cool! I deffinately suggest using Kool aid it is completely harmless, unless you burn yourself!
I should be posting about my award winning chilli on Sat or Sun! can’t wait!
