I knit this scarf for my sister for her Christmas present she helped me design it. I know it’s not traditional to tell the person what you giving them but she is so picky that I wanted to make sure she liked it, because she would lie and tell me she likes it but then give it to good will. Plus this scarf is a very easy project that can be done in a day.
Materials:
Half a skein of worsted weight yarn
Size 11 straight needles or circular needles but knit straight
Guage: Not important
Cast on 16 st.
Row 1-4: Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4
Row 5-8: Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4
Row 9-12: Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4
Row 13-16: Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4
Row 17-264: Moss/ Seed St (K1 P1 rep til end ending with P1 then next row P1 K1 rep til end ending in K1)
Row 265-268: Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4
Row 269 - 272: Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4
Row 273 - 276: Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4
Row 277 -280: Purl 4 Knit 4 Purl 4 Knit 4 (bind off on this row)
